They are miserable to use and often fragile. This tray is well constructed and it is a pleasure to use. I hesitated because of the price but I think it is worth the money. I spend all day at my computer and my desk was not really designed for use with a computer. However, this keyboard tray is astonishingly adjustable and I had no trouble finding a comfortable typing position. Also, installation was not too difficult.
